Girl Power
Hillary Will

Hillary Will might be praying for rain the rest of the 2006 drag racing season. It seems like every time the skies open up Will ends up in the final. At the Skull Shine World Nationals, Will fought through a long and rainy weekend to capture her first career national event victory. She defeated Doug Foley in the rain-delayed final Monday at Norwalk Raceway Park, putting the finishing touches on a weekend where her ’06 Attac Dragster was consistently the quickest car in the class. Her 4.624 run at 314.75 mph against Foley put her in the Winner’s Circle for the first time and gave her and her Kalitta Motorsports team much-needed confidence heading into the U.S. Nationals at Indianapolis Raceway Park, the crown jewel of the NHRA schedule.
